Facilities


RTJ is rapidly becoming the most modern and advanced Design Institute in China. Our campus houses a state-of-the-art professional library which stores more than 3000 cutting edge reference books & industrial magazines. We also boast Drafting Labs, Sewing Labs and Draping Labs with modern ironing equipment and sewing machines imported from Japan for Fashion Design programs. Other labs include digital multi-media labs, Dell Labs, and Mac Labs for the Visual Communication program - all set amidst spectacular architecture. Our Campus and Dormitory offer wireless internet access 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

Computing and IT
RTJ campus has a fully equipped Learning Center and Library. The Learning center is open, during term, seven days a week with staff available to help students quickly access information during office hours. The Library is fully networked and equipped with books, audio-visual and computer equipment, CD-ROM and internet access. We also provide introductory talks and demonstrations during students' first few weeks at RTJ to help them gain familiarity with the systems, ensuring they can make the most of the resources available.


We have excellent study spaces and resources in addition to the learning center with 30 PC’s and even more Macs. Students also have access to Wi-Fi network connections on the main campus and dormitory, face to face IT user support, and specialized software packages to support their studies.

Student life
Tianjin is home to a range of attractions including nearby Beijing. There is a huge choice of entertainment from pubs and clubs, to theatres, cinemas, sports facilities and both traditional and modern restaurants. Tianjin is an attractive and exciting place to live and learn. People are friendly and it is easy to understand why students from all over the world choose to come here.
RTJ offers a comprehensive support service focused on helping international students, advising on a whole range of issues including pre-departure information, visas, immigration, general welfare and employment in China.
The International Admission Officers organize orientation programs and social events throughout the year to make certain that students’ arrival and stay in Tianjin is as enjoyable as possible.

Student Support
Our CPD (Center for Professional Development) provides Student Support Services to help students achieve personal goals, support their physical well-being, emotional health, and career progress from enrollment through graduation and employment. We provide career advice, counseling, and support to those with special needs and disabilities.
The International Admission Office provides specific advice for international students.
