About Online Learning

In online learning, separation from campus is a given. But will you be completely cut off from your classmates and lecturers as well? An article on this topic says that you won't.

While regular schools still exist, the virtual classroom plays an important role in today's learning community. Learning resources and job opportunities for students are expanding rapidly and more students are becoming aware of online learning that allows them to study at library, dormitory and home. Online learning, however, require unique qualities to be successful. The following list discusses some ideal qualities of successful online learning.
  •  Be open-minded about sharing life, work, and learning experiences as part of online learning.
  • Be able to communicate through consulting from your lecturers.
  • Be willing to "speak up" if problems arise. Take the program seriously. Accept critical thinking and decision making as part of online learning.
  • Be able to thinking ideas through before asking your lecturers.
  • Keep up with the progress of the course.
