Advanced Diploma Multimedia Design Introduction
The objectives of the Advanced Diploma in Multimedia Design programme is to give the students the creative design skills and technical knowledge they will need to become professionals in their chosen fields, taking into account the ever changing multimedia environment. The students must learn to be flexible and sensitive to the changes in the current trends in modern design/technology organisation and management needs of the industry. They will develop their own individual strategies, and learn the intricacies of leadership and teamwork necessary in design/business organisations. The programme will introduce new ideas, practices and technologies outside of their experience and encourage them to think about the purpose of design in contemporary society.
The programme objectives are delivered through lectures, seminars and tutorials and a range of assessment methods including research and project work, presentations, written assignments and examinations.
